About Myself

“I am curious. Always have been. Many things fascinate me and make me want to dig deeper and understand better when it comes to innovation. It is an infinite exciting cycle. Technology, and in particular that of the last 10 years, is at the heart of so many fundamental changes that keep occurring around us. It inspires me to think about society in general and customers in particular. What do they actually want or need ? They never say it directly and so the art is to deduce it from observing their behaviour and understanding those ‘hidden’ needs. I believe that it is the basis of any meaningful innovation”.

I am a hands-on Strategy, Marketing and Product Development Business Executive. I lead business innovations teams, invest in a variety of companies, serve as board member for a couple of companies and have an active passion for giving public keynotes and teaching.

In my last role, I served as the Chief Product Officer of Liberty Global (LBTYA), an international telecommunication and Cable TV operator active mainly across Europe. I oversaw Innovation and Business and Product Development across Television, Broadband Internet, Fixed Telephony and Mobile. Before that, I held various other executive roles within Liberty including: Commercial and Strategic Marketing, Chief Financial Officer of one of Liberty’s subsidiaries, Business Development and more.

Prior to Liberty Global, I was an active partner in a management consultancy firm (David Boas LTD) specialized in High-Tech investments, Strategic Planning, Innovation and Differentiation and Economic Feasibility of high-investment national programs.

I am currently an adjunct Professor for ‘Innovation Management’ at two MBA schools (University of Amsterdam and Reichman University in Israel).

In addition, I am a member of the advisory board of various companies.

As far as education is concerned, I hold a master in Business Administration (MBA), a BA.c in Computer Science and a BA in Economics in addition to attending various prestigious executive trainings along the years.

Luckily, my hobbies and passions are aligned. Public speaking and teaching gives me the ability to connect with people and ‘give back’. I also love working with people. Many people. leading teams that can make a bigger impact and drive meaningful business innovations, ones that can serve a higher purpose; those that can change people’s lives.
